Beautiful and private lake cottage newly renovated from top to bottom on Crooked Lake in Delton, MI. This four bedroom, two full bathroom house is a perfect two-family rental, set up for kids and families with a large yard, almost 80 feet of lakefront, and large patio and deck, and a huge fire pit for bonfires right next to the lake. House has a detached, screened in gazebo for enjoying the outdoors in the evening - without the mosquitos! Brand new dock and boat slip is in for the summer and public lake access is available, so bring your boat! Three one-person kayaks are also available for exploring the lake. Just a 15 minute drive outside of town, through the beautiful tree-lined Dogwood Drive roadway leading to the cottage, you see beautiful Long Lake. Park your car just off the quiet road and walk down the 18 steps to the entryway for the cottage. Each step leads you closer to your relaxing vacation. Enter the cabin and you'll be surrounded by the comfortable-sized kitchen. No need to trip over each other as you are preparing the family meal here. We have the ideal table for playing cards, just off the kitchen. Around the corner, you'll find 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the other twin bunk beds. There is also a bathroom on this main level. A few feet away, the living room is large and overlooks Long Lake. Large windows line the wall to let you soak in the gorgeous lakefront. In the corner of the living room, you'll see a stairway leading to the lower level. On the lower level, you'll find an additional bedroom and bathroom, plus easy access to the outside deck overlooking Long Lake, plus the stairway down to the swimming area. The lower level has lower ceilings. If you are 6'2" or taller, it may not be comfortable for you to walk around. The swimming area has a sandy bottom. If your kids would like to build a sand castle, they can do so at the property next door (owned by the same couple, as they are working on the renovations. You will have no next door neighbors during your stay, as the other cottage is being thoroughly renovated. No work will be done during your stay. This private home sits directly across from Prairieville Park Boat Launch on the north side of Gull Lake, is located 15 miles from Kalamazoo, Michigan, and is 3 miles north of Richland. This two story, 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom home has two bedrooms with Queen beds and one bedroom with a Queen bed and an extra long twin bed. There is a full size futon on the main floor and a roll away bed that can be placed in any room. The main floor living/dining area is spacious, with rich dark wood floors. The kitchen includes a full size refrigerator/freezer , a microwave, a dishwasher, and a 5 burner gas stove. There is a drip coffee pot, crock pot, toaster, tea pot, blender, mixer, new Calphalon cookware, a propane gas grill outside, and place settings for 10+. The second floor laundry room is also available for use. All furnishings in the house were brand new in 2017. The enclosed porch is lined with windows that overlook the boat launch (across the street), and there is a pizza restaurant next door. The park/boat launch across the street has a great picnic area with outdoor grills, modern bathrooms, a playground for the kids, and a sandy beach for swimming. We also provide a seasonal pass to enter the park if you want to launch your boat. Please note that the house is located across the street from the lake, and there is not a place to dock your boat overnight at the boat launch. There is private parking behind the house with enough space to park 4-5 cars and we have room for your boat/trailer.

ABOUT OUR PROPERTY: Our house sits on 6 wooded acres, and from it’s hillside perch, enjoys broad views overlooking Bristol Lake. The property is at the end of a quiet, dead-end drive. It has frontage on Stamm Lake (a 4½ acre spring-fed pond), and from Stamm, the property line follows a stream which flows year-round down to Bristol Lake, on which the property has 125 feet of frontage. Bristol is a 165-acre all-sports lake and is excellent for fishing, swimming and all manner of watersports. We have a sandy beach which drops-off gradually until it reaches a depth of around 3 feet (appx. 20’ from shore). From there the depth falls-off more quickly, eventually reaching a depth of 45 feet at closer to 100 yards from shore. As such, the beach and lakeshore are relatively-friendly to younger children (although we recommend life jackets for non-swimmers). We have a raft which is anchored in deeper water (very safe for diving), we also have a dock to park a boat or to get young anglers closer to the many bass & bluegill which hover at the drop-off. Between the house & the shore we have a large grassy yard with enough trees to give some comfortable shade in the sunny summer afternoons. We have a hammock in the trees and a fire pit on the beach. The yard is large enough for whiffle-ball, volleyball, croquet or practically any variety of other yard games. The 6 acres of woods have a series of short trails which are fun for a short afternoon stroll. ABOUT THE HOUSE: New construction, built with premium materials and systems. At appx. 4,300sf, it has 8 bedrooms, 3½ baths and enough beds to sleep 20 (see plans in photo section). Our kitchen has large areas granite countertop, allowing many participants in food preparation. We have both a large and a small refrigerator, a double-oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, ample cabinets and a walk-in pantry. We have a large dining table as well as folding picnic tables and an umbrella table on the deck (which overlook the lake). There are areas to sit & talk on every level. The lower level has a rec room equipped with both a ping-pong and a pool table. This room opens thru 2 sliding doors onto a patio (which also overlooks the lake). A TV room on the upper level is great for kids watching late-night movies. ABOUT THE BRISTOL LAKE COMMUNITY: Bristol Lake offers a wonderful mix of active recreation and quiet relaxation. Many of the property-owners on the lake live here year-round. Our property is centrally located in southwest Michigan, within a 3-hour drive from Chicago and Detroit. The region is known for it’s rolling hills, golf courses and hundreds of lakes. It is a place where recreation awaits year-round! No matter what your outdoor pleasure, from golf to water sports, you can find it here in our beautiful natural surroundings! Our house sits on 3.3 wooded acres, and from it’s hillside perch, enjoys broad views overlooking Bristol Lake. The property is on a quiet residential street. Bristol is a 165-acre all-sports lake and is excellent for fishing, swimming and all manner of watersports. The lake shore consists of a mix of areas of sand and loam. The water gets deep gradually and is relatively-friendly to younger children (although we recommend life jackets for non-swimmers). We have a large grassy yard along the lake with enough trees to give some comfortable shade in the sunny summer afternoons.

Should mother nature rain on your parade or you just take a break from the lake to venture out, the charming town of Hastings is just a short drive away to enjoy even more restaurants, cute little shops and even a small movie theater. Or try your luck at the Gun Lake Casino located just twenty minutes from Anchor Cove Escape.
